This is a great tool for motor skills. The blocks are very colorful and the shapes make it more fun. My son loves them!

This is a great toy, my daughter who is 3 year old loves to play with this toy. It has lots of shape and she actually loves to play with the lace. She thinks that is too funny. I will recommend this to anyone.

OK, I admit that I totally fell in love with the bright shapes and colors of this set and it certainly is bright and colorful. My daughter loved the numbers on the blocks and the shapes were fun but I have to say that I might have liked the old fashioned bead style of less fancy sets for sheer usability. The beads were pretty big for small hands, the holes snagged the string a bit and the case could have been designed with a lid to provide a better storage container. I used the smaller round and oblong beads with my preschool class and found that they worked better than these for little hands but my twin two year olds did love to stack these "beads" and did enjoy the set very much.

We purchased this for our toddler son so that he could practice lacing and work on some fine motor skills. He enjoys this toy and will sit and play with it for a decent amount of time! He is quite good and stringing beads now and we feel like this was a great purchase!

These shapes, colors, and designs are attractive and inviting. This toy leaves room for creativity as the child is ready.
Will they last forever? Probably not. I'm not sure how optimistic I would be about keeping all the parts in the little storage box, but I believe this toy is a valuable teaching toy nevertheless.
Check the age recommendation, as always. I often forget to do that.
